1. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on a device when you use a website. Territory Conquest also uses similar technologies, especially browser local storage, to keep the Game working on your device.

Today, most of our first-party client state is stored in local storage rather than traditional authentication cookies.

2. What We Use

Strictly Necessary / Functional Local Storage

We use local storage for core Game functions, including:

• Guest account ID — keeps you signed into the same guest account between visits on that browser
• Cached checkout email — remembers the email you entered for purchases so you do not have to retype it
• Accessibility preferences — keyboard navigation, screen-reader labels, high contrast, color-vision mode, and text size

These are needed to operate the Game as requested (including remembering your guest session and accessibility settings). They are not used for advertising.

Third-Party Technologies

When you start a purchase, you are directed to our payment provider (Dodo Payments). That provider and its processors may set their own cookies or similar technologies on their checkout pages to process payment, prevent fraud, and complete the transaction. Those technologies are controlled by the provider under their own policies.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) and infrastructure partners may also process technical request data as part of delivering the website.

3. Analytics and Advertising

We do not currently place first-party advertising cookies or a separate analytics tracker in the Game. If that changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, request consent.

4. Consent

Because the technologies described above are used for essential Game operation and accessibility preferences you choose, we generally do not show a separate cookie consent banner for them.

If we later introduce non-essential cookies (for example analytics or marketing), we will request consent where applicable law requires it.

5. How to Clear Stored Data

You can clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings. Clearing your guest account ID will start a new guest session on that browser. If you have purchased Tokens, use your reclaim code under Buy Tokens → Reclaim account to restore the previous account.
